Schedules & Organization
for your homeschool year, weeks, and days

Weekly Schedule (elementary years):

Below is my weekly checklist for my elementary aged children. They love getting to check off these boxes as we work through our daily list! If you find this helpful, you can download it here and make changes as you wish.

This is as detailed as I get as far as a schedule goes. I know some moms who make a schedule with times for each subject. That just doesn’t work for our family. So everyone has to find what works best for them. 😊

Before each week starts, I fill in page numbers/projects for each subject. For my younger children, this is as far as I plan. I haven’t found the need to plan for the semester or year. It is a different story for my high schoolers though. I plan out the entire year on a general level. Then I go into more detail and plan out the assignments and projects for each semester, and then my teens get a similar sheet for their weekly work.

Planning out the high school years…

For the challenge or high school years, I am much more detailed in how I plan out the school year. I like to make an overview of the entire school year, with each week roughly planned out. This helps us see our goals and follow through in working toward them. Then, each week, I make a similar sheet that is much more detailed.
Here is a yearly schedule for Challenge 1.
Challenge 2 schedule coming soon!

This is a weekly chart I fill out with specifics for each subject. My high schoolers check the chart each day to complete what is needed. You can download it here.
