Resources for Classical Conversations

Weekly Memory Work

Trifold board: For weekly memory work, I love to use this board. This board was easy to make! And having a visual helps us stay on track as we play the songs. You can download and print these memory work pages for each subject on CC Connected (search under users for “keppel” and you should find these). Then, each week, switch out the memory work pages and Timeline cards. For me this is easier and neater than writing it all out on a whiteboard each week.

On right: Memory work binder: These pages are wonderful and have all of the memory work for each week. You can find them on CC Connected. Look under the username carolynjbaltazar This resource is great because it is more portable.

Cycle 1 Resources

Helpful resources to go along with Cycle 1

First, books:

Using some books from our homeschool library, I have created a booklist that goes along with Cycle 1 memory work of the Classical Conversations Foundations curriculum. Download the book list here. Good news: many of these books are great with Cycles 2 & 3 as well!

I have another book list of fun books that we use throughout the homeschool year that are also relevant to cycle 1. These resources are great if you want some devotions and Bible stories, Greek myths for story time, and some science/nature fun. The illustrated math dictionary is a great reference too! You can download this book list here.

Cycle 1 Memory Work coloring book:

I printed these memory work coloring books out for my kids and had them spiral bound at Staples for $5 each. It is a great way to make the memory work more hands on and fun! There is a page for each subject of all 24 weeks. Here is the link for the download.
